Today, I learned a lot about the Cold War. I mostly worked on the collapse of the Soviet Union. Three things that I learned about this was:
1) The Soviet Union had a very poor economy, which was a big factor in the events to precede the collapse. 2) The Government set up programs to allow more private property, and more freedom of speech (which helped it's collapsed). 3) The leader of the USSR at the time (Mikhail Gorbachev) was kidnapped in an attempt to the overthrow of the government.
